Wanganui and Manawatu: A few cloudy areas clearing this morning then fine.
For Bay of Plenty and in the east from Gisborne to Canterbury also for Wellington and Nelson: Cloud and a few light
coastal showers from Kaikoura to Napier clearing this morning and becoming fine everywhere.
South Island west coast: A few showers clearing and becoming fine everywhere.
Otago and Southland: Fine apart from some cloud about the South coast and Stewart Island.
Chatham Islands: Cold and showery with gale southwest winds.
