Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight
tomorrow:
The north and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu, also for the central high country and Bay of Plenty: A few showers at first. More frequent showers spreading north from early tomorrow and colder. Snow lowering about the ranges to affect the Desert Road and other main highways later.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Overnight turning colder with showery southerlies spreading north. Snow lowering about the ranges.
Wellington. Turning much colder overnight with widespread rain. Showery for much of tomorrow with snow to the ranges.
Nelson and the South Island west coast: A period of rain or showers overnight then clearing from the south.
Marlborough to Otago also for Southland: Cold southerlies and rain working north with snow to low levels in the south. During tomorrow showers retreating to the coast with a few fine periods inland.
Chatham Islands: Rain easing to showers and cold southerlies from early tomorrow.
