Wairarapa and Wellington, also coastal Marlborough: Cloudy with showers. Fine spells increasing tonight. Tomorrow,
remaining showers clearing and becoming mainly fine.
Nelson, inland areas of Marlborough, also for the South Island west coast: Mostly fine weather.
Canterbury, Otago and inland Southland: Fine or becoming fine in most places tonight. Frosty inland tonight and fine
again tomorrow.
Coastal Southland and Stewart Island: A few light showers tonight.
Mainly fine tomorrow apart from a few cloudy periods.
Chatham Islands: Rain at times easing to showers tomorrow.
