Nelson: Fine for the remainder of today, cloud increasing tomorrow with scattered rain developing later.
Marlborough, Canterbury and Otago: Mainly fine this evening. High cloud spreading from the west overnight. Tomorrow,
extensive high cloud with rain developing about the alps.
West of the South Island: Cloud increasing this evening. Drizzle areas about Fiordland. Tomorrow, rain at times.
Southland: Cloud increasing with a few coastal showers tonight. Tomorrow, cloudy with patchy rain about the western
ranges.
