Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast valid to midnight tomorrow:
North and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu, also for the central plateau and Bay of Plenty: A few showers about Northland today but mainly fine elsewhere. Tomorrow mainly fine with frosts in sheltered places.
Gisborne to Wairarapa, also coastal Marlborough: Cloudy with drizzly showers persisting. Showers slowly clearing from the south tomorrow.
Wellington: Showers becoming confined to the eastern hills today. Fine spells increasing elsewhere. Tomorrow, a mix of cloud and fine breaks.
For Nelson, inland areas of Marlborough: Mainly fine apart from a few cloudy periods.
For the South Island west coast and Southland: Mostly fine and frosty. This evening cloud increasing south of the glaciers and about western Southland. Tomorrow, rain developing in Fiordland and Southland with increasing cloud elsewhere.
Canterbury: Clearing inland but coastal drizzle and low cloud Persisting today. Fine and frosty inland tomorrow with remaining areas of coastal cloud clearing.
Otago: Cloudy about the coast today otherwise fine and frosty. Tomorrow, fine at first but high cloud increasing later with patchy rain spreading from the west towards evening.
Chatham Islands: Showers continuing.
