Bay of Plenty: Cloud and light showers clearing tomorrow.
Gisborne to Wairarapa, also coastal Marlborough: Cloudy with light showers persisting.
Wellington: Showers becoming confined to the eastern ranges. Fine spells increasing elsewhere.
For Nelson, inland areas of Marlborough, also for the South Island west coast and Southland: Mostly fine and frosty. By
the end of tomorrow cloud increasing south of the glaciers and about western Southland.
Canterbury and Otago: Fine and frosty inland, Coastal cloud and drizzle becoming confined to Canterbury tomorrow.
Chatham Islands: Showers continuing.
