From Northland to Wellington, also for Bay of Plenty and the central plateau: A mix of fine and cloudy periods for the
remainder of today with a few showers in the west. Showers turning to rain tomorrow.
For Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mostly fine weather but cloud increasing tomorrow with rain or showers developing later.
For Nelson and Marlborough: Mainly fine for the remainder of today. One or two showers at times tomorrow with
southeasterly winds developing.
For the South Island west coast: A few showers at times but becoming fine tomorrow.
For Canterbury and Otago, also for Southland: Mostly fine weather. A few coastal showers and southeasterly winds
developing tomorrow.
Chatham Islands: Rain clearing for a time today. A few showers tomorrow.
