From Northland to Manawatu, also for Bay of Plenty and the central plateau: A mix of one or two showers and fine periods
for the remainder of today. Tomorrow, morning showers turning to a period of rain.
For Gisborne to Wairarapa: Brief showers about the main ranges but mainly fine elsewhere today. High cloud increasing
tomorrow.
For Wellington: Mainly fine for the remainder of today. Cloudy tomorrow with a few showers turning to rain after dark.
In Nelson and Marlborough: Mostly fine today but cloud increasing tomorrow with rain spreading from the west later.
For the South Island west coast: Rain or showers for much of the time.
For Canterbury and Otago: Cloudy for the remainder of today with low cloud and fog about the coast. Tomorrow, high cloud
increasing with some late brief rain possible.
In Southland: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain developing tomorrow.
For Chatham Islands: Rain or showers at times.
