showers but with increasing fine breaks.
From Waikato to Wellington, also for the central plateau: Showery today and tomorrow.
From Gisborne to Wairarapa: Cloudy today. Tomorrow, cloudy with brief rain spreading off the ranges from time to time.
Buller, northern Westland and Nelson: Patchy rain.
Remaining areas of Westland, also for Fiordland: High cloud but dry today. Patchy rain spreading from the north
tomorrow.
Marlborough, Canterbury and Otago: Rain in most areas for the remainder of today especially about the eastern hills and
coast from afternoon. Snow expected there later today above 1500 metres. Tomorrow, cloudy with patchy rain about the
coast.
Southland: Cloudy with brief rain this evening. Patchy rain tomorrow.
