Gisborne to Wairarapa, also for Wellington: Cloud and a few brief showers about Gisborne this morning. Elsewhere, fine.
South Island west coast and Nelson: Light showers about Fiordland otherwise a mix of cloud and fine periods.
Marlborough to Otago, also for Southland: Fine inland. Light showers about the south coast from time to time with a few
spreading further north later.
Chatham Islands: Mainly cloudy, a few showers.
