Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow
In the north and west from Northland to Manawatu, also for the central plateau: Cloudy periods, a few showers from Auckland southwards. Showers more frequent tomorrow south of New Plymouth.
Bay of Plenty to Taupo and from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mainly fine but showers likely from Napier southwards tomorrow.
Wellington: Cloudy periods with a few showers tomorrow.
South Island west coast:: Skies clearing south of the glaciers early tomorrow then rain further north gradually clearing.
Nelson and Marlborough: A few showers today about the western ranges of Nelson and the Marlborough Coast tomorrow otherwise mainly fine.
Canterbury: A few coastal showers until the morning, elsewhere cloud clearing overnight.
Otago and Southland: A few showers persisting in the far south elsewhere becoming fine overnight.
Chatham Islands: A few showers.
