Nelson: Becoming fine today. Fine tomorrow.
Marlborough and Canterbury: Rain easing to showers about and north of Ashburton, further south mainly fine. Tomorrow,
mainly fine everywhere.
West of the South Island: Mainly fine but cloud increasing in Fiordland tomorrow.
Otago and Southland: Fine apart from coastal cloud. Cloud increasing about the Southland coast tomorrow afternoon.
Chatham Islands: Wet and windy.
