Short Forecast from Weather Workshop valid to midnight tonight.
For Northland and Auckland: A few showers clearing this morning and becoming mainly fine.
In the west from Waikato to Manawatu, also for the central plateau and Bay of Plenty: Showers clearing from the main ranges and the central plateau this morning. Elsewhere fine and frosty.
In the east from Gisborne to Wairarapa: Showers becoming confined to coastal places this morning then clearing and becoming fine.
Kapiti Coast and Wellington: Showers clearing and becoming fine this morning.
Nelson and the South Island west coast: Fine and frosty apart from showers to the southern fiords.
From Marlborough to Otago, also for Southland: Cloud and showers persisting about the south coast. Fine and frosty elsewhere.
Chatham Islands: Showery.
