UN Child Rights Committee Issues Findings on Argentina, Angola, Algeria, Montenegro, Russian Federation, Lesotho, and Norway
The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child has published its findings on the countries it examined during its latest session from May 14 to June 1: Argentina, Angola, Algeria, Montenegro, Russian Federation, Lesotho, and Norway.
The findings contain positive aspects of how the respective States are implementing the Convention on the Rights of the Child, highlight matters of concern and make recommendations.

The next session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child will be from September 17 to October 5 to review the following countries: Benin, El Salvador, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Mauritania, Niger and Saudi Arabia. The Committee’s concluding observations are an independent assessment of States’ compliance with their human rights obligations under the treaty.
