Statement attributable to the Spokesman of the Secretary-General on the New York attack
The Secretary-General was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the deadly attack today in New York City, home to the United Nations Headquarters.
The Secretary-General extends his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured.
