The General Administration of Borders has closed Registration Offices after they were opened for one day as the number of travelers increased to 5000. In a brief press statement, the Interior Ministry website says that Abo Khadra and Deir Albalah traveling offices were closed Wednesday.
Frequent closures of Rafah terminal leads to accumulating numbers of travelers.
The Egyptian Authorities have closed the Rafah Border Crossing for more than 45 days since the beginning of 2014.
Since 2006, the Israeli Occupation has imposed a severe blockade on the Gaza Strip, barring the entry of construction materials. Moreover, Palestinians endure long power cuts due to the fuel shortage.
