The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arsenii Yatseniuk stressed on Wednesday, March 5, during a Government’s session and a teleconference with the regional state administrations’ heads.
According to Arsenii Yatseniuk, despite the extremely difficult situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Government of Ukraine manages to meet all liabilities to the Autonomy: “Throughout the recent two days we have transferred UAH 60 million to the territory of Crimea to cover social and other expenses”.
He views, despite the enormous debt for energy carrier consumption by the Autonomy, the Government ensures supply of energy carriers to the Crimean territory: “We are providing life support of the Autonomy despite the Russian military aggression in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”.
Moreover, Arsenii Yatseniuk underlined that “after the Russian tanks and military officers arrived to Crimea there won’t be a holiday season in fact”: “There won’t be the holiday season, consequently there won’t be additional budget revenues”.
In this connection the Prime Minister addressed the Finance Minister Olexandr Shlapak to correct the revenues of the Autonomy: “They will need assistance and increase of subsidy amounts in order to maintain the social situation in Crimea”.
