Quarterfinals of the Fortune Heights Snow Polo World Cup
The Quarterfinal schedule started today and consisted of four six minute Chukkars. The defending champions, Hong Kong, China were tied at 7 all versus the United States in a very close game. In the penalty shoot-out Hong Kong came out on top 2 to 1. In the second game, Brazil beat Mexico 6 to 5. For detailed reports on both games go towww.hurlinghampolo.com
The schedule for tomorrow the 16th of Juanuary will be;
New Zealand (1st place Zone 2) vs Chile (4th place Zone 1)
England (2nd place Zone 2) vs France (3rd place Zone 1)
The semi-finals will take place on Saturday 18 January, and the subsidiary final and grand final will be played on Sunday 19 January.
