Melbourne agency makes Facebook app for World Cancer Day campaign
World Cancer Day, held annually on February 4th, is the international event to unite the world in the fight against
cancer. Melbourne agency Online Circle has been appointed to the Geneva based Union for International Cancer Control’s
(UICC) World Cancer Day global account as their digital agency.
As part of their work with UICC, Online Circle has created a worldwide Facebook application in order to raise awareness
of World Cancer Day on a global level. The Facebook application dispels cancer myths and encourages shares. The app also
gives businesses the opportunity to install it on their Facebook fan page to educate their fans and spread the word.
“It’s extremely exciting and rewarding to be appointed as the digital agency for UICC’s World Cancer Day campaign. It is
an inspiring organisation striving to create international awareness and change for the better,” said Lucio Ribeiro,
