GAZA, (PIC)– Minister of Jerusalem, prisoners, and refugees’ affairs Dr. Attalla Abu Subbah has denounced the Israeli occupation authority’s latest measures in occupied Jerusalem city.
He mentioned in particular the latest decisions of establishing a settlement neighborhood in Arab al-Sawahreh area of southern Jerusalem, and declaring Al-Aqsa mosque courtyards as gardens and public parks for Jews.
Abu Subbah said in a statement on Wednesday, “The events in the city of Jerusalem reflect the legal and moral deterioration of the Israeli government which is continuing its racist and criminal policy against the city”, stressing that his ministry has been seeking by every means to expose and put an end to the occupation’s crimes.
The minister added that the occupation is striving to obliterate the Islamic landmarks in Jerusalem through committing deliberate and systematic crimes, referring to the occupation’s recent break-in at the Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan.
He expressed his frustration and condemnation regarding the Muslims’ inaction and silence facing the occupation crimes which exceeded all limits.
Meanwhile, he called on the media to shed light on the events in Jerusalem, and urged all international heritage protection institutions and organizations to intervene in order to protect the Islamic relics in Palestine and expose the Zionist crimes in all the historical Palestinian cities.
Abu Subbah appealed to the Islamic and Arab nation, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to move in order to thwart the Zionist policy, and demanded the free world to support the Jerusalemites and strengthen their steadfastness until regaining their stolen rights.
