WASHINGTON- Today, July 16th at 12:00 p.m. EDT, Senior Advisor to the President David Axelrod and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council Diana Farrell will hold a media conference call to discuss how yesterday’s historic passage of Wall Street reform will bring greater economic security to families and businesses across the country. The reform bill that was passed in the Senate yesterday will protect consumers when they take out a mortgage or sign up for a credit card, prevent the kind of shadowy deals that led to this crisis and never again put taxpayers on the hook for Wall Street’s mistakes.
