Refugee Health Highlighted in New Zealand
1.00pm to 2.30pm Wednesday 18 November AUT University North Shore Campus
Richard Towle, Regional Representative of the UN Refugee Agency, will give the keynote address at the opening of a major refugee health conference in New Zealand.
Mr Towle will speak from UNHCR’s global perspective on the health needs of refugees around the world, and the needs of those coming to New Zealand under its quota intake.
The Refugee Health & Wellbeing Conference is being hosted by AUT University and the Refugee Council of New Zealand, and is proudly supported by UNHCR.
Mr Towle is also participating in a number of events, consultations and meetings in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch from 16-23 November.
