Afghanistan-based Coalition Forces Destroy Pakistani Check Post; 11 Dead
Rawalpindi, June 11 - A spokesman of ISPR said that on night of 10/11 June. Frontier Corps border check post at Gora Prai in Mohmand Agency was destroyed by Coalition Forces in Afghanistan through an aerial attack. Resultantly, eleven Security Forces Personnel including one officer embraced shahdat.
The spokesman condemned this completely unprovoked and cowardly act on the FC post and regretted the loss of precious lives of our soldiers. He blamed the Coalition Forces for the violent act and said that the incident had hit at the very basis of cooperation and sacrifice with which Pakistani soldiers are supporting the Coalition in war against terror. He highlighted that such acts of aggression do not serve the common cause of fighting terrorism.
He also informed that a strong protest has been lodged by the Pakistan Army and we reserve the right to protect our citizens and soldiers against aggression.
