Burma: Fourth Bomb Blast Kills Bus Conductor
A bus conductor has been killed in a bomb blast, the fourth bombing in Burma in the last week.
The explosion occurred on a bus travelling from Kyaukkyi to Rangoon. At the time of the explosion, the bus was parked at a rest stop and only the conductor was on board.
The military junta has again blamed the attack on the Karen National Union (KNU) - an ethnic group that has waged a sixty-year campaign for independence.
A total of three people have now been killed during the last week in a series of small blasts.
