Attacks on Cuban Dissidents
The escalation in repression by the Cuban Government against peaceful activists should be of concern to all nations who embrace the principles of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. The attacks by the regime on Cuban civil society have occurred in churches, on the streets, and within personal residences.
We ask all democratic nations to call for an end to the violence and intimidation and join us in urging the Cuban Government to release political prisoners, to return them to their families and to begin a process of national dialogue and reconciliation.
