Sri Lanka : Foreign Office amends travel advice
The Foreign Office today changed its travel advice for Sri Lanka. We now advise against all travel to the Yala National Park, due to increased security concerns. The relevant summary point now reads:
"We advise against all travel to Yala National Park. Since October 2007 there have been a number of incidents there and it is currenty closed due to security concerns. See the Terrorism and Local Travel sections of this advice for more details."
