Ruddock's inquiry should go much wider
The Attorney General's inquiry into a newspaper obtaining details of a witness associated with last weeks anti-terror arrests should go much wider, Greens Senator Bob Brown said in Sydney today.
"The leak Mr Ruddock is investigating came after the police raids. The inquiry should investigate the more dangerous leaks to the media from 'government sources', which occurred before the raids."
"It should also find out whether the Prime Minister's decision to recall the Senate alerted would-be terrorists and may have led one suspect to escape and/or destroy evidence," Senator Brown said.
