Bil'in Home Burned By Soldiers
While in the village of Bil'in today, Israeli soldiers burned a home of a local resident.
Soldiers with the Israeli Military stationed themselves behind a house during their presence in Bil'in today. One soldier approached the front of the house and knocked on the door. After receiving no answer at the door, the soldiers pried open a window to the house and threw in a concussion grenade.
A neighbor to the house alerted the soldiers to a fire that had started by the grenade and were given permission to extinguish the fire only after a bedroom had been destroyed.
This incident occurred as land owners of the village were attempting to rescue olive trees that had been uprooted earlier this morning.
The trees were taken by an Israeli contracting company into the nearby settlement of Kiriyat Sefer.
