Election Campaign Announcement: Please Distribute To You Lists!
Join us in Palestine for the Elections! International Solidarity Movement Election Campaign
December 1 to January 15.
ISM-Palestine invites international peace activists to Palestine to serve as election monitors during the campaign period and on election day. International election monitors are expected to arrive in Palestine to monitor the election process, most likely on or around election day.
ISM activists, however, will work to monitor and document Israeli measures that obstruct or limit the ability of Palestinians to run smooth and democratic elections in all of the Palestinian occupied territories, including East Jerusalem. ISM activists will serve as active election monitors during the election campaign in addition to the day of elections.
Activist roles will include monitoring military check points, election campaign meetings or information dissemination to insure freedom of speech and movement, particularly in East Jerusalem. We will also be monitoring Israeli military operations and arrest campaigns throughout the West Bank.
We call on you to join us during this critical time!
Defend the right to free and open elections!
A two day training is required before joining ISM. We provide training every Friday and Saturday. See our website http://www.palsolidarity.org for more information.
