$195 Million Paid Out For Iraq Invasion Of Kuwait

$195 Million Paid Out By UN War Reparations Panel For Iraq Invasion Of Kuwait
The United Nations Compensation Commission paying damages to those who suffered during Iraq’s 1990 invasion and occupation of Kuwait today announced the disbursement of nearly $195 million.
The money will go to 20 governments and two offices of international organizations for distribution to more than 2,100 successful claimants.
The new payment brings the overall amount of compensation granted so far to about $18.8 billion.
