Number of Internationals on Hunger Strike Grows
Solidarity Hunger strike in Jerusalem, Tulkarem, Nablus and Hebron
On Monday, August 30, national and international activists began a hunger strike in solidarity with the Palestinian political prisoners on hunger strike for the third week now. Hunger strikes have been declared worldwide, including several major cities in the United States.
Solidarity hunger strikers will be present at the solidarity tents throughout the region.

Palestinian Political Prisoners began an open-ended hunger strike Sunday, August 15. They have a list of demands for fair and humane treatment in Israeli prisons defined under international law, Israeli law and Israeli prison regulations. They are demanding that abuse of prisoners and their families ends immediately.
