He is the Harold Willens Peace Fellow at The Nation Institute and the author of many books including The Fate of the Earth, The Time of Illusion and The Unconquerable World. Jonathan Schell lives in New York City.
HERMAN SCHWARTZ
Author of "Right Wing Justice: The Conservative Campaign to Take Over the Courts" Herman Schwartz is professor at the Washington College of Law at American University. He is the author of Packing the Court, and The Struggle for Constitutional Justice in Post-Communist Europe, and the editor and contributor to The Rehnquist Court and The Burger Years. He is the former Chief Counsel and Staff Director of the US Senate Antitrust & Monopoly Subcommittee and a former member of the US delegations to the UN Human Right Commission and to the World Human Rights Conference. He has consulted with numerous former Soviet bloc countries on constitutional and human rights reform.
NICHOLAS VON HOFFMAN
Author of "Hoax: How We Were Taken In" Nicholas von Hoffman was a commentator on 60 Minutes and a columnist at the Washington Post and now writes a column for the New York Observer. He is the author of the bestselling Citizen Cohn. Nicholas von Hoffman lives in New York City. His son Aristodemos is curently serving in Iraq.

ROBERT JAY LIFTON
Author of "Superpower Syndrome: America's Apocalyptic Confrontation With the World" Robert Jay Lifton is the visiting professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. From 1995 he has been conducting psychological research on the problem of apocalyptic violence, focusing on Aum Shinrikyo, the extremist Japanese cult that released poison gas on Tokyo subways. He is the author of many books including Destroying the World to Save It: Aum Shinrikyo, Apocalyptic Violence and the New Global Terrorism and The Nazi Doctors: Medical Killing and the Psychology of Genocide.
