Three Citizens Killed in West Bank as IOF Bombs a House in Gaza
TULKAREM, Palestine - - The Israeli occupying forces (IOF) killed two citizens in the Tulkarem province and a child in
Nablus, while helicopter gunships bombed a house near a refugee camp in Gaza Strip, in a continued escalation on the
occupied Palestinian territories that resulted so far in four killed citizens.
IPC correspondent in Tulkarem reported that the Israeli forces staged a massive invasion of the Tulkarem refugee camp
and the town of Saida, during which two citizens were shot and killed.
IPC's quoted medical sources in the city of Tulkarem as saying that the Israeli forces shot and killed Basel Abu Shehab
early this morning the Tulkarem refugee camp, while Saher Ajaj, 22, was shot and killed in the town of Saida.
Eyewitnesses mentioned that the invading forces mounted a house-to-house search campaign, in which two citizens were
arrested and led to an undisclosed location, as helicopter gunships hovered overheads.
In addition, a child was also killed by IOF gunfire in the city of Nablus, security sources and eyewitnesses said.
The witnesses added that the Israeli forces invading Balata refugee camp opened heavy and random gunfire at the
citizens there, hitting Hussam Abu Zaytoun, 17, with three fatal bullets in the chest.
Medical sources in the city confirmed that Abu Zaytoun died instantly due to the Israeli bullets.
Meanwhile, three citizens were wounded when Israeli combat helicopters bombed a house near the Beach refugee camp in
Gaza City, security and medical sources said.
Security sources asserted that the Israeli helicopters bombed the house of Abed Al Qoqa, west of the refugee camp,
completely destroying it and damaging nearby houses.
Media reports claimed that Al Qoqa was the commander of the Al Nasser Saladin's Brigades, and that the bombing of his
house was a failed attempt on his life by the Israeli forces.
Officials at the Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza said that three citizens arrived with shrapnel in their bodies due to the
missiles that fell on the house.
Elsewhere, medical sources in the city of Khan Younis, south of Gaza Strip, said that a child was wounded seriously by
the Israeli forces there.
The sources added that the four-year-old girl Warda Abdeen, from the Batn Al Sameen area in Khan Younis, was shot and
wounded in the neck when the Israeli forces stationed near the illegitimate Israeli settlement of "Qadid" opened heavy
gunfire at the area she lives in. her wounds were described as serious.
In the meantime, three citizens were reported arrested during an incursion into the town of Betunya, west of Ramallah
City.
WAFA news agency reported that the Israeli forces stormed the town and raided several houses there, searching them and
wrecking their furniture, before arresting three citizens and leading them to an undisclosed location.
As well, IOF stepped up its military measures in the city of Nablus, as dozens of Israeli military jeeps invaded the
city and patrolled some of its neighborhoods.
Eyewitnesses mentioned that the Israeli forces occupied a residential building near the Balata refugee camp and turned
it into their regional command center. The witnesses added that the occupying patrols continued to scour the city
streets, firing live bullets and gas canisters from time to time.
