Celebration of Resistance Students of Palestine Say No to the Wall
Thursday, January 1, students from Abu Dis, Birzeit, and Haifa Universities, along with Palestinian NGO's, Israelis and Internationals will begin a 3 day "Celebration of Resistance" at Abu Dis University, West Bank, Palestine.
This 3 day event will stand as tool to network the growing non- violent movement of resistance against the Israeli Occupation of Palestine and the new "security" wall being built within the green line. Consisting of music, educational workshops and the planting of a garden within the path of the Wall, these days will bring together students, activists and individuals from all over Palestine, Israel, and the world to commemorate the already existing peaceful resistance and learn how to nurture more.
Volunteers from the International Solidarity Movement will attend in solidarity with the students of Palestine affected by the Occupation and suffocated by Israel's new Wall.
