ISM Training and Reminders
1. ISM Palestine Training
The ISM will run a full two day training for all volunteers who have come to Palestine after the last Olive Harvest training and have not received a full training.
The training will begin at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, December 30 at the Faisal Hostel in East Jerusalem. This training will continue through Wednesday afternoon.
2. Reminders for Upcoming Actions
The upcoming events were organized by the GIPP network (Grassroots International Protection for the Palestinian People), along with The Committee Against the Wall and the Union of Palestinian Women. The ISM encourages participation:
29th December, 9:00am - Lecture at the PARC building in Ramallah focusing on the effects of the wall (land/water confiscation) 11:30am - Ramallah village action (Beit lqia) 30th December, 11:30am - Jerusalem wall action (Beit Anan) 31st December, 7:00pm - Candlelight vigil at the Manara (Ramallah)

In addition to these actions, the ISM endorses the following action:
The Palestinian Women's Public Union will host 67 European women in Jenin on December 31. A plan is set for the group of women to visit Torah Al-Sharqiah village and participate in a peaceful march to a gate in the Israeli Apartheid Wall. The National Committee Against the Wall will also particpate and organizers are hoping to get participation from Israeli peace groups.
