Israeli Jetfighters Slaughter Ten Palestinians, Wound Dozens, Including Children
GAZA, Palestine -- Israeli jetfighters raided Sunday on several parts of Gaza Strip, killing 10 Palestinians and at
least one hundred were wounded several of them critically.
At 9:21 PM. Israeli warplanes and helicopters pounded a Palestinian vehicle killing seven Palestinian civilians and
wounded dozens, several critically, in the mid-Gaza Strip refugee camp of Nuseirat, Palestinian medical and security
sources said.
The Physician, Zain Al Abdeen Shaheen, 30, Mohammed Baroud, 12, Mohammed Al-Masri, 23, Atteia Mwaness, 20, Ahmed
Khaleifa, 49, Abed Al Haleem Tubaza,15, and Mahdi Abo Jarboa’, 20, year old, Dr BaKer Abu Safiya, director of emergency
services at Al-Shifa hospital of Gaza, told IPC.
Zain Al Abdein, physician, was killed in the Israeli raid as he was on duty, trying to rescue the wounded, Dr. Al
Mussader, director of Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital told IPC’s.
At least 70 other were wounded, 11 of them in critical conditions, receiving treatment in the Intensive care unit. Ayoub
Almalek, 20, has entered clinical death case, Abu Safiya added.
139 citizens, including women and children were wounded during the Israeli raid on Nusairat, Palestinian official
sources said in an official statement published by Palestine News Agency (WAFA).
Israeli Apaches had fired several missiles at the direction of a civil Palestinian car “Peugeot 504” passing nearby
“Palestine Bank” at the main entrance of Al Nasserite refugee camp, heart of Gaza Strip. The car was destroyed and its
occupants were killed.
Shortly after, the paramedics, and citizens, have rushed to the scene of the crime to help the victims, the Israeli
jetfighters once again fired one missile towards the teeming crowds of the citizens, killing seven Palestinians and
wounding more than 90 civilians, witnesses told IPC.
“I heard an explosion in the camp, I went to inspect what is the matter, several paramedics were in the scene trying to
help the victims, several meters before arriving the car, an other missile pounded the people killing and injuring tens,
eyewitness Ahmed Joda told, 40, IPC.
"It's a massacre. They slaughtered civilians with no mercy," one protester at the scene said. Blood covered the ground
near the car and the wounded lay scattered around the vehicle.
The Israeli apache’s raid caused gross damages to a number of civil vehicles and the neighboring houses, whose windows
were smashed.
In a separate helicopter raid, last night, 12 Palestinians were wounded in Gaza city, IPC said.
Earlier on Monday IPC correspondent reported that the Israeli helicopters fired several missiles at a pickup truck
traveling down Al Jala'a Street, a crowded traffic artery in the city of Gaza. The blast destroyed the truck completely,
killing three citizens, and wounding many other bystanders, including schoolchildren.
Palestinian medical sources at "Al Shifa" hospital in Gaza said that the two killed citizens were identified as Khaled
Al Masri and Eyad Al Helow, while a third citizen, Marwan Al Khateeb, died shortly afterwards of wounds he sustained.
Ten others, including schoolchildren, were also wounded, one critically.
Israeli jet fighters (F16) re-raided Al Sha’f area in Al Sheja’ia neighborhood, east Gaza city and shelled under
construction house, wounding several of children and women and wrecking damage to the neighboring houses, Palestinian
security sources and witnesses reported.
In addition, on Monday morning, Israeli jetfighters fired several missiles at a house adjacent to that of the Islamic
Jihad movement spokesman, Sheikh Abdullah Al Shami. 14 casualties among the civilian population were reported, including
two infants, aged two and three years.
