Urgent Action: Jayyous farmers detained now in the cold for 5 hours: please call!
Urgent Action Needed!
[Jayyous, Palestine] At the South Gate in Jayyous, seven farmers are being detained in the cold without food or shelter by Israeli military. They have been held for over 5 hours and the military has told ISM activists present that the farmers will be held indefinitely until they tell soldiers the names of some persons who may have damaged the gate earlier in the day. One of the farmers is elderly, and none have adequate clothing for the cold.
Please call immediately to insist that the farmers be allowed to return home, and to show the world is watching.
