Coordination on Fundraising
Hello friends, As you may be aware, ISM Palestine is facing a severe financial crisis.
Legal fees resulting from arrests and the costs of maintaining a presence in several areas have nearly depleted our funds.
We are appealing for emergency funds and also to initiate discussions on how we can coordinate fundraising efforts between ISM Palestine and local groups.
We need to expand the means by which we can accept donations as many potential contributors are unable to send funds through the Africa fund or to Israeli banks.
We would like for at least one person in each represented country to open a bank account in the name of ISM to accept funds on behalf of ISM Palestine. We could then direct potential donors to the account nearest them.
In addition, we would like to discuss with different regions their ideas on fundraising and how we can assist.
We can provide photos, videos, and journals and will also be creating power point presentations on different themes, such as The Wall of Apartheid, Olive Harvest, Water Issues, etc. that could be used by local chapters for fundraising events.
If you are involved in fundraising for your region and wish to assist us in this endeavor, please contact marissamcl@hotmail.com or webmaster@palsolidarity.org. Thank you
