The Balata Two Will Be Heard In Court! Turn Up To Show Your Support Andrew And Andreas To Appear In Court To Appeal
Against Deportation
Under International Law, the Israeli state is the criminal party. The Balata Two are only guilty of trying to uphold the
principles of humanity.
The two men who chained themselves to a house in Balata refugee camp, Andrew Muncie from Scotland and Andreas Koninek
from Sweden, have had their deportations suspended by the Tel Aviv District Court.
Today, Judge Kobo agreed to grant lawyers for the ISM an injunction to halt the deportations of the two men. She set a
hearing for 10.00 on Friday morning for the case to be heard.
The policy of house demolitions is not only against the principles of the Geneva Convention, but it is also forbidden
by the so- called `Road Map For Peace.' If Israel was serious about finding peace through the Road Map, it would have
abandoned such actions.
In order to make clear to the Israeli state that we support these two brave men in their opposition to the Israeli
policy of house demolitions, we require a large presence at the court as a show of strength.
Please come and bring as many supporters as you can. Free the Balata Two!
