Israeli occupation troops continue their aggression and now they occupy virtually every Palestinian population center on the West Bank, and maintain a system of checkpoints, security cordons and curfews in the rest of the Palestinian territories. Israeli occupation forces have also cordoned off the Gaza Strip and conducted military attacks against Palestinian installations and houses inside its borders. Under the occupation, Palestinians are prohibited from leaving their homes to go to work or shop, and transport for relief provisions has been made difficult, if not impossible; up to half of the 3.3 million Palestinian population is verging on serious malnutrition.
[3] Palestinians were assassinated, [31] were wounded, among them [12] children and [8] critically including [5] children. [38] Were arrested. [85] Trees and [9] dunams were destroyed. [33] Houses, [14] vehicles, [7] economic establishments and [3] institutions were destroyed or damaged. [1] New military post was established. Palestinian areas were shelled [10] times & bombarded by machinegun fire [19] times.
¨ Jerusalem: The occupation forces invaded and vandalized Palestinian houses in the city and arrested twelve Palestinians.
¨ Ramallah & Al Bireh: The occupation forces stormed the town of Bet Rima, demolished a family house and arrested one Palestinian.
¨ Nablus: The occupation forces invaded Balata refugee camp and arrested two female teenagers.
¨ Jenin: The occupation forces sealed off several parts of the Jordan Valley area, imposed curfew on the city and other villages and arrested one Palestinian.
¨ Tolkarem: The occupation special troops assassinated two Palestinian youths and injured six others, opened fire at residential houses and stormed Palestinian houses in Ateel. A number of Palestinians were arrested.
¨ Hebron: The occupation forces invaded and ransacked Palestinian houses in the village of Dora and arrested four Palestinians. Tens of Palestinians were detained and humiliated and Jewish settlers started establishing a new settlement outpost on a hilltop near the Jewish only settlement of Qiriat Araba.
¨ Bethlehem: The occupation forces invaded the village of Wadi Rahal, bulldozed nine dunams of land and destroyed tens of fruitful trees.
¨ Gaza: The occupation forces assassinated a 40-year-old Palestinian using Apache missile injuring twelve Palestinians including two children. Several hoses were damaged.
¨ Khan Younis: The occupation forces bombarded residential areas near the Jewish settlement of Neve Dekaleem causing damaged.
¨ Rafah: The occupation forces opened fire indiscriminate fire at Palestinian houses in Block “C” and Al Qasain neighborhood and injured a number of Palestinians, two critically.
