More Trouble in Yanoon From Itamar's Settlers
Yesterday at 12.45 pm two armed settlers rode into Upper Yanoon and examined the water supply (a well and pump). The motorbike on which they rode had no number plates and neither settler removed his helmet.
After their examination the two rode on to lower Yanoon to examine the water supply there before riding away at 1.15 pm.
At about 1.30 an Israeli jeep arrived carrying soldiers who asked the mayor of Yanoon where the terrorists were. They were joined a few minutes later by a white settler security van and then another army jeep.
After questioning the mayor for 15 minutes the settlers and soldiers drove away.
ISM activists in Yanoon suspect that the reconnaissance might be the prelude to a new phase in the campaign of terror against the people of Yanoon, conducted by Itamar' settlers with the support of Israeli Occupation Forces operating in the Yanoon area.
