Israeli occupation troops continue their aggression and now they occupy virtually every Palestinian population center on the West Bank, and maintain a system of checkpoints, security cordons and curfews in the rest of the Palestinian territories. Israeli occupation forces have also cordoned off the Gaza Strip and conducted military attacks against Palestinian installations and houses inside its borders. Under the occupation, Palestinians are prohibited from leaving their homes to go to work or shop, and transport for relief provisions has been made difficult, if not impossible; up to half of the 3.3 million Palestinian population is verging on serious malnutrition.
[5] Palestinians was killed, [72] were injured, among them [11] children, [12] critically and [35] were arrested. [108] Trees were uprooted or burned. [35] Dunams were bulldozed. [42] Houses, [30] vehicles and [3] economic establishments and several National Security posts were destroyed or damaged. Palestinian areas were shelled [29] & bombarded by machinegun fire [53] times.
¨ Ramallah & Al Birah: Occupation tanks, armored personnel carriers and infantry continued their attack on the presidential compound in the city of Ramallah. All the compound’s buildings around the president office were destroyed. The occupation bulldozers destroyed and cut off the electricity, water and telephone supplies. Two Palestinians were shot dead and [35] were injured, when the occupation troops opened fire at peaceful demonstrations in the city.
¨ Nablus: Two Palestinians, among them a child, were shot and killed and seven others were injured – one critically- when the occupation forces opened fire at a peaceful demonstration and the occupation troops imposes curfew and invaded, searched and ransacked Palestinians houses in the village of Kfar Qalil.
¨ Jenin: The occupation forces, backed by tanks and heavy fire, invaded Yaabad and Silt Al Daher villages, opened fire and critically wounded a 20-year-old Palestinian, forced students to leave their schools, blew up one house and several commercial store houses, causing severe damage to several nearby houses and invaded and search a Palestinian’s house. One Palestinian was arrested.
¨ Tolkarem: One Palestinian was shot and killed and four others were injured – one critically- when the occupation forces opened fire at Palestinians in the city. The occupation troops also invaded the village of Faqeen, opened fire at residential areas and wounded four Palestinians.
¨ Salfeet: A group of Jewish settlers, backed by the occupation army, invaded the village of Kofor Al Deek, fired gas bombs and bullets at Palestinians and wounded one child. And the occupation soldiers imposed curfew in the village and in other nearby villages.
¨ Hebron: The occupation forces invaded the police station in the city and detained all policemen for several hours, they also invaded Palestinian houses in the village of Yatta and arrested one Palestinian.
¨ Northern Gaza: The occupation forces invaded Palestinian areas in Bet Hanoun, bulldozed several dunams of land and destroyed two family houses.
¨ Mid Area: The occupation forces bulldozed several dunams of agricultural land east of Tebani factory. The occupation troops continue to close down Salah Al Deen road preventing Palestinians from moving even in humanitarian cases.
¨ Khan Younis: The occupation forces bombarded residential areas in Al Amal neighborhood and the refugee camp damaging several houses. They also opened fire at Palestinian farmers near Al Matahen.
¨ Rafah: The occupation forces bombarded indiscriminately Al Iskan neighborhood wounding [6] Palestinians, among them one child who sustained critical wounds. One Egyptian woman was wounded and [20] houses were damaged in Al Barahma neighborhood in the Egyptian side of the border.
