(New York City) -- One day after the entire U.S. Congress convenes on September 6th in New York City to honor those that lost their lives in the September 11th attacks of last year, From the Wilderness Publications is sponsoring two events which will dramatically challenge the official account of the events of 9/11 and the status quo interpretation of events leading up to and following the tragic events of that day.
Former LAPD narcotics officer and current editor/publisher of From the Wilderness will be the featured speaker and workshop leader at both events.
Michael Ruppert, former LAPD narcotics officer, is now a seasoned investigative reporter who is amongst the most active in the U.S. on the subject of 9/11. Undaunted by an ongoing smear campaign for his reporting on 9/11, Ruppert has published some 70 articles on 9/11 (authoring many of them) and he's done an average of 3-4 radio shows a week since November. His 21 lectures in three countries have been to standing room only crowds who consistantly give him standing ovations. His own video, "The Truth and Lies of 9/11," shot primarily at his first public post 9/11 appearance in Portland, Oregon has sold over 5400 copies.
The From the Wilderness newsletter is now subscribed to by 30 members of Congress. Following the events, Ruppert is scheduled to meet personally with members of Congress in Washington, D.C. regarding 9/11 and related issues.
His presentation will cover a range of issues to include the coming global oil crisis as a motivator for 9-11; pipeline development history before and after 9-11; U.S. government foreknowledge of the attacks; Bush administration awareness of airliners as weapons; CIAís knowledge of a $100,000 wire transfer to Mohammed Atta; the role of the Afghan drug trade and its influence on the world markets; insider trading before the attacks; the assault on Constitutional freedoms and Homeland Security; the inevitable Mid East war that might lead to Islamic genocide; Israel; Saudi Arabia; the roles of Russia and China in the ultimate end game for control of the worldís dwindling energy resources AND MUCH MORE
A stunning new documentary short, Aftermath: Unanswered Questionsof 9/11,produced by UnansweredQuestions.org and the Guerilla News Network, winners of the 2002 Sundance Online Film Festival will be premiered in a rough cut format to begin the program of both events. "Nearly a year has passed and not a single open hearing has been held in Congress by the Committee charged with investigating what happened on September 11th," notes co-producer, Kyle F. Hence of UnansweredQuestions, "our intention is to spark widespread outrage, and most importantly some constructive action, with this short video." GNN's award-winning producer/director/editor Stephen Marshall said recently, "This is the most important piece I've done in my life!"
This video with shocking yet well documented lines of inquiry and analysis regarding 9/11 (not fully examined or reported on by the major media) will be premiered live in final cut on the internet on Sept. 11th.
