IDF HUMAN SHIELDS IN VILLAGE RAID
[NABLUS] International observers in the village of Tel, near Nablus, reported that the Israeli army this morning used a
teenage boy as a human shield to conduct house-to-house searches.
Around 6.45am the US and British citizens witnessed a 14-year-old boy, Osama Saleh Ramadan, being forced at gunpoint to
open doors and search rooms in a house they were raiding. The raid resulted from the discovery of a pair of
‘military-style boots’ in the family home.
The soldiers also forced an adult member of the family, A’Kareem Saleh Ramadan, to break down the door of the village
school. They then entered the school and inflicted further damage.
A number of men detained in the village are believed to have been released. This includes the Sheikh of the local
mosque.
