Stability needs wisdom, not force, says President Saddam Hussein
Baghdad, Oct. 8, INA
President Saddam Hussein met on Sunday members of Iraq’s Command of Arab Ba’th Socialist Party, Vice-President Taha Yassin Ramadhan, Deputy Prime Minister Tareq Aziz, members Ali Hassan al-Majeed and Latif Nsayef Jassim, Deputy Prime Minister Hikmat al-Azawi and Head of Presidency Office Ahmed Hussein Khudhayer.
During the meeting, the attendance discussed events of the recent U.S aggression against Afghanistan. The meeting issued the following statement:
We said in a series of statements that the World is in need to use wisdom not force, retaliation or harm, to achieve peace and security.
America today launches aggression on the most poverty-stricken country and people-Afghanistan.
Everyone who truly believes in God condemns this act because it is an aggressive act happened outside the framework of the international law and because the accusation sent by America against some people is not convincible.
This style will only lead to more instability and lawlessness in the World. Stability needs wisdom, not force and the use of military power against Afghanistan and its faithful people.
America might increase the use of force and include other countries.
The whole World will be convinced that America with its hostility and aggression for 50 years depended on terrorism and created it against others as it created it against itself.
Stability and security will be achieved when the aggressors stop their aggression and practice justice and put an end to their hostility against Iraq and Palestine.
