FIJI TRAVEL ADVISORY OUT OF DATE
An official NZ Government travel advisory warning New Zealanders about a leptospirosis outbreak in Fiji is out of date, according to health officials in Suva.
The current travel advisory says leptospirosis cases are still occurring in Fiji’s Northern Division but the last reported case was in August.
Dr Salanieta Saketa of Fiji’s Ministry of Health says the leptospirosis outbreak is now deemed to be under control.
