Pacific Journos Set For Seminar

SUVA: Pacific regional journalists have been invited to a one-day seminar on the International Criminal Court to be held at Auckland next week, Fiji's Daily Post reports.
The seminar is being organised by the Institute for Media, Policy and Civil Society (IMPACS), a Canadian-based non-government organisation.
Among those expected to attend are University of the South Pacific journalism coordinator David Robie and USP's Wansolwara editor Matelita Ragogo, who is attending for the Fiji Times.
Also in the team are Islands Business editor Laisa Taga; Jese Sikivou, chief executive of Pacific Islands Broadcasting Association (PIBA); administrator Nina Ratulele of Pacific Islands News Association (PINA); Fiji One television reporter Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and the Daily Post's Sanawaka Inoke.
Journalists from Kiribati, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu are also expected to attend the seminar.
