Adults quickly joined the fray, and the militia gangsters inflicted the most damage.

7) UN Peacekeeping Force Announces Troop Reductions 11/07/00 (Lusa) DILI - In a sign of increased confidence in East Timor's security situation, the United Nations peacekeeping force announced Monday it would begin reducing the size of its 24-nation contingent.
8) Timor’s new international consumer class 11/07/00 (The Guardian) DILI - The morning rush: men in short sleeves and women in strappy sandals carry laptops, mobile phones and ID into gleaming offices, while others head for a latte and breakfast.
