MANOORA BEING SHIFTED FOR POSSIBLE USE AS VENUE FOR SOLOMONS PEACE TALKS
The RAN ship, HMAS MANOORA, is being sailed closer to Honiara to provide a possible venue for peace discussions between eminent Solomon Islanders.
The ship is moving from its current position outside Solomon Islands territorial waters to a position about two hours sailing time from the capital, Honiara.
MANOORA is to be available for peace discussions between Solomon Islanders or a possible meeting of the Solomon Islands Parliament.
