1) Australian soldier wounded in border post grenade attack 30/05/00 (RDP Antena 1) DILI - [Presenter] There have been clashes at a border between East and West Timor. A grenade was thrown at a UN post. There was an exchange of fire in another incident.
2) Ethnically mixed Bosnian police contingent working in East Timor 30/05/00 (AP) DILI, East Timor - Five years ago, international peacekeepers had to intervene in Bosnia-Herzegovina to enforce the truce that ended a bitter war among its three main ethnic communities.
3) First Dili trial over violence to start in June 30/05/00 (Kyodo News) DILI - A Dili court will likely start in mid-June the trial of five pro-Jakarta militiamen charged with killing nine people last September in a rampage of violence that began after East Timor voted for independence from Indonesia, court sources said Monday.
4) Gusmao thanks Gurkhas in Brunei 30/05/00 (Borneo Bulletin) BRUNEI - Visiting East Timorese leader Xanana Gusmao who arrived in Brunei yesterday on a two day goodwill visit toured the 'A' Company of the Royal Gurkha Rifles in Tutong and thanked them personally for their tour of duty in his country.

11) Humanitarian Pillar Situation Report 24 - 26 May 29/05/00 (UNTAET) DILI - General: The Hevi-Lift B206 helicopter, which was working alongside the PKF Chilean Puma helicopter to assist the victims of the recent floods in West Timor, rescued one West Timorese male on 24 May in the flooded river abounding the village of Hatimuk.
12) OCHA: Floods Situation Report 29/05/00 (OCHA) The following is an updated summary provided by the UNHCR/OCHA on 25 May. This will be the last of the daily updates on the floods in West Timor.
